Terms & Conditions

By participating in the International Building Design Competition (IBDC) 2022, participants agree to the full list of Terms and Conditions:

1. The Participant accepts all risks of personal injury or property damage of any nature whatsoever that may arise from his/their making or creation of the Competition entry or participation in the  IBDC 2022 and will not in any way hold the Organisers responsible for any liability, loss, damage, expense and cost which he/they may sustain or incur as a result of his/their participation

2. Each Participant agrees to keep the Organisers and its respective directors, officers, employee and agents indemnified against any and all such claims by third parties for any losses or damages arising from the Participant’s submission of Competition entry and the Participant’s participation in the IBDC 2022.

3. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense howsoever arising incurred by a Participant in connection with the IBDC 2022, including the collection and subsequent use of the awarded prize.

4. POWER OF WAIVER- The Jury Panel reserves the power to waive or to vary any of the conditions in circumstances where in its view, the best interest of the selection exercise would justify the course of action. The decision of the Jury Panel shall be final and the Jury Panel is not obliged whatsoever to give any reasons for the rejection of any submission.

5. The organisers shall have the right to publish, display, reproduce or otherwise publicize or communicate all submissions, including all drawings, videos, etc., submitted by the participants at any stage of the Design Competition. Such right shall be exercisable by the organisers without any payment, charge or fee whatsoever to any person. Participants consent to grant the organisers the rights to use all other submissions for exhibition, publication and publicity purposes.
